PerformanceFunnel / Kevin Ankrom ("we", "us", "our") operates Track IQ. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

• Email Address: Collected via Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email/password authentication
• Display Name: Provided during account creation or through authentication providers
• Authentication Provider: Record of sign-in method (Apple, Google, or email)

1.2 Location Data

• Current Location: Your device location is used in real-time to calculate wind conditions and weather data. This location is processed locally and not permanently stored.
• Saved Track Locations: Coordinates of tracks you save or search are stored in our database to provide track-specific weather forecasts and historical data.

1.3 Usage Data

• Saved Tracks: Tracks you bookmark or favorite
• Track Ratings: Your ratings and reviews of track conditions
• Search Queries: Track searches you perform
• App Preferences: Your settings, calibration data, and UI preferences stored locally on your device
• Event Goals: Performance goals you set for specific events

1.4 Subscription Data

• Purchase Status: Whether you have an active subscription
• Subscription Type: Free or Pro account status (synced to our database for feature access)

1.5 Biometric Data (Optional)

• Face ID/Touch ID: If enabled in your device settings, used for secure authentication. Biometric data never leaves your device and is not stored on our servers.

1.6 Photo Library Access (Write-Only)

• Purpose: When you export race analysis cards, we request permission to save images to your photo library
• We Do NOT: Access, read, or upload your existing photos

2. Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Contract: To provide the Track IQ service you subscribed to
• Legitimate Interest: To improve app performance, prevent abuse, and maintain security
• Consent: For optional data sharing preferences (can be managed in Settings)

3. Third-Party Services

We use these services to operate Track IQ. Each service has its own privacy policy:

3.1 Authentication & Database

• Firebase Authentication (Google): User authentication and account management
• Firebase Firestore (Google): Cloud database for user profiles, saved tracks, and app data
• Firebase Cloud Functions (Google): Server-side operations for weather data and search
• Apple Sign-In: Authentication provider
• Google Sign-In: Authentication provider

3.2 Payment & Subscriptions

• RevenueCat: Subscription management (syncs with Apple App Store)
• Apple App Store: Payment processing

3.3 Weather & Map Services

• Apple WeatherKit: Real-time weather forecast data
• Open-Meteo API: Historical weather data and elevation information
• Apple MapKit JS: Interactive map display and track visualization

3.4 AI & Search

• Google Gemini AI: Natural language track search and race strategy analysis

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

4. How We Use Your Data

• Provide weather forecasts and wind analysis for your selected tracks
• Manage your account, authentication, and subscription status
• Save your favorite tracks and preferences across devices
• Generate personalized race strategy recommendations
• Process natural language track searches using AI
• Improve app stability and fix technical issues

5. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
• Upon Account Deletion: All personal data is permanently deleted immediately from our database
• Local Device Storage: Cleared when you delete the app or use "Clear Cache" in Settings
• Public Track Database: Anonymized track locations remain in the database to serve other users

6. Data Security

We implement security measures including:

• Encryption: All data transmitted uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Firebase Security Rules: Access control ensuring users can only view their own data
• Secure Authentication: OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication
• Rate Limiting: Protection against abuse and unauthorized access attempts

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Privacy Rights

GDPR Rights (EU Users)

• Right to Access: View all data we have about you in Settings → Export Data
• Right to Portability: Download your data as a JSON file
• Right to Erasure: Delete your account and all data in Settings → Delete Account
• Right to Object: Manage privacy preferences in Settings → Privacy Controls

CCPA Rights (California Users)

• Right to Know: Understand what personal information is collected (see Section 1)
• Right to Delete: Request deletion via Settings → Delete Account
• Right to Opt-Out: Enable "Do Not Sell My Information" in Settings → Privacy Controls

8. Children's Privacy

Track IQ is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International Data Transfers

Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States where Firebase servers are located. By using Track IQ, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
